Post PAX initial thoughts
Thanks to ARC (Australian Roleplay Community) for running “PAX AUS at the Table” event, over 40 Australian TTRPG stories told across 300 game sessions and 1,300 players! Do check them out as they run many events including Conquest in Melbourne at easter time, yes we’ll be there in easter running new 7th scenarios.
HUGE personal thank you to everyone who came and played 7th over the PAX weekend, in total we ran 10 games and had 55 players. Some sought our game out, others played because other sessions were full, all the feedback at the table was that they were glad the sign up area sent them to our game.
Everyone said they had a blast playing which is what we wanted, and we certainly had fun running the sessions. As a GM & designer, conventions are a highlight for me. I especially enjoy running the same scenario for different player groups. It's fascinating to see their unique strategies and how they overcome challenges.
Update on game release
I've started to look through the feedback and can't say thank you enough to everyone who took the time not just to complete the multiple choice questions, but also to write down additional thoughts and answers giving us a lot of great feedback, this allows us to make a better game!
Once we go through all the feedback and recover from PAX we’ll be working in earnest to get the playtest PDF released so people can start playing with their groups.
Cheers,
Brad
